Chelsea star Raheem Sterling has reacted to their recent 1-0 against Fulham at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The win against Fulham, makes it three wins in a row for Chelsea in the Premier League, and four on the bounce on home soil in that competition.

Chelsea were a able to secure all three points via a Cole Palmer penalty in added time at the end of the first half.

The penalty came when Raheem Sterling was tripped in the box by Issa Diop as he jinked his way into a dangerous shooting position after being found with a brilliant reverse pass from Palmer.

‘I was just happy to contribute in that way so that we could get the penalty,’ said Sterling.

‘It’s about quick feet and sharp turns, sometimes defenders dangle legs out and that’s what he did there. I was happy because sometimes I haven’t been given some that were clear, but I’m glad that the ref gave that one yesterday.

‘Cole dispatched it brilliantly and we got the three points. He gets in positions really well and he can see that final pass into the box, that was a great pass.’
