Sterling reveals what next Chelsea manager should expect
Chelsea player and England international Raheem Sterling has shared what the next club manager should expect.
Barring unforeseen circumstances, the Blues led by Todd Boehly are expected to name their new permanent manager following Frank Lampard’s failure to turn things around for the rest of the season.
Recall that after Chelsea sacked Graham Potter, they brought in Lampard on an interim basis to see off the rest of the season but they have suffered defeats in five of the five games under his reign.
However, Sterling in a statement said whoever emerged as the Blues’ next manager will be working with a highly talented squad.
According to him, the players are there for the manager to convert them into winners.
“Whoever takes over will find a bunch of talented players. Like anything, wherever you go, you need a structure, that we as players follow, and a leader. It’s as simple as that.”
