Senior players blame Ten Hag for Man Utd woes

The latest report from Old Trafford revealed some of the club’s senior players have blamed their manager Erik ten Hag’s intense pre-season training as a reason behind their poor form.

The Red Devils’ have undergone a poor start which has been compounded by some of their injured key players.

Ten Hag has seen players like Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro and Luke Shaw sidelined for long spells.

During the international break, Marcus Rashford, Andre Onana, Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund have added to United’s injury problems.

There are reports via the Guardian that some members of the first-team squad feel that Man United’s injury problems have been caused by an intense pre-season training management.

Man Utd players took part in eight friendly matches and took in a 12-day trip to the United States over the summer that left players feeling “overworked”.
