Liverpool star Roberto Firmino is another big name in Europe that has completed a transfer to Saudi Pro League.

This comes as Saudi Arabian side, Al Ahli in a recent report confirmed the signing of Firmino as a free agent on Tuesday.

Firmino’s contract with the Reds expired at the end of last season and it didn’t come with an extension.

The 31-year-old star has now moved to the middle east to continue his career after he agreed a three-year deal with the Saudi club, where he will play alongside former Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.

Firmino, who was one of Liverpool’s super trio alongside Mohammed Salah and former star Sadio Mane spent eight years at Anfield, scoring 110 goals in 361 appearances.

During his time with the Reds, he won seven trophies including the Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League title in 2020.

Al Ahli return to the Saudi Pro League for the 2023/2024 campaign after they won the Saudi First Division League title last season.
