Sarri reportedly wants to reunite with this Chelsea goalie

The recent reports have claimed that former Chelsea manager and now Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri is keen on a reunion with the Blues goalkeeper Arrizabalaga Kepa.

Sarri and Kepa worked together when the Italian was still in charge at Stamford Bridge.

They also had some issues, and one of the most popular ones was when Kepa Arrizabalaga refused to be substituted during the 2019 Carabao League final.

Despite this, a report via Sport claimed Sarri still values Spain international and considers him a possible addition to his squad at Stadio Olimpico.

It is believed that Sarri wants to sign Kepa as a replacement for Pepe Reina and Thomas Strakosha, whose contract with Lazio will expire at the end of this season.

While Kepa has been provided with regular playing chances in cup competitions, the 27-year-old will hope to take back his spot as a number one again in the future.

It is, however, uncertain if Chelsea will let Kepa leave in the January transfer window as he is going to be the one to take over from Edouard Mendy when he leaves to participate in the AFCON.
