Former Chelsea and now Real Madrid left back, Antonio Rudiger has told the Spanish what to do to avoid a ‘war of egos.’

The report claimed Rudiger is demanding the transfer of left-back Miguel Gutierrez to avoid a clash with teammate David Alaba.

According to El Nacional, Rudiger has told Real Madrid president Florentino Perez to sell Gutierrez to decrease competition for both him and Alaba.

The report added that the Los Blancos want Gutierrez, 20, to remain at the club and continue his development.

But he is expected to be sold this summer to create room for more signings in the ongoing transfer window.

Rudiger, who joined Real Madrid from Chelsea signed a four-year contract this summer, where he will play as a left centre-back, and wear the number 22 shirt.

The German defender hopes to form a good partnership with the likes of Nacho Fernandez and Eder Militao at right centre-back at Real Madrid.

On the other hand, Alaba is expected to return to left-back, which is his natural position.
