Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has returned to training with the rest of the team ahead of their next game vs Man Utd in the EPL.

The Blues were back to training two days prior to Thursday night’s trip to Old Trafford, where Thomas Tuchel’s men will be aiming to strengthen their position in the Premier League top four.

As of now, the Blues are currently 11 points clear of the sixth-placed Red Devils, having played two fewer matches, while their cushion in the Champions League qualification berths is now seven points following the weekend win against West Ham.

Rudiger missed that last-minute victory against West Ham as well as the Blues’ defeat to Arsenal with what Tuchel reported as both groin and hamstring issues.

However, the plan for the defender’s reintegration is on course with his return to working with the rest of the squad today.

Tuchel is expected to provide a further update during his pre-match press conference on Wednesday afternoon.

It is uncertain the German defender will start against Man Utd but might come in from the bench.
