Chelsea defender and Germany international Antonio Rudiger has reacted to interest for him by top European clubs like Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and others.

Rudiger, who is flattered by the interest, revealed it shows he is doing well as he told that his focus is on Chelsea.

The German international has been linked liked with moves away from Stamford Bridge as he is yet to agree to new terms with the Blues.

Rudiger’s contract with Chelsea will lapse at the end of this season, after which he can move to any club on a free transfer.

However, the recent reports revealed that Chelsea have reportedly offered the 28-year-old defender a bumper £120,000-a-week deal to stay put at the west London club.

While the top-rated defender has kept the Blues waiting as he mulls over his options, he has now hinted that he’s ready to extend his contract during a chat with Bild’s Christian Falk.

When asked whether he would like to return to Germany next summer, Rudiger said: “I feel good at Chelsea where I am now, so that fits.

“The interest from Bayern Munich honours me because that shows that I’ve done a few things right recently.”
