Ronaldo would accept pay cut to join preferred clubs

Man Utd star Cristiano Ronaldo has been making headlines for since he announced his decision to leave Old Trafford.

The Portugal star is reportedly ready to take a pay cut in order to force a move away from Manchester United to his preferred club.

According to the UK Independent, Ronaldo will accept a reduction in his £500,000 per week salary to join a new club.

The report revealed his preferred destinations are EPL side Chelsea and German club Bayern Munich.

Ronaldo is desperate to play in the Champions League next season and wants to make the sacrifice to see that it is done.

Chelsea are in the race to sign a new striker and Ronaldo is one of their targets as they want to sign him after Romelu Lukaku returned to Inter Milan on a one-year loan deal.

Spanish side Barcelona have also been linked with a shocking move for Ronaldo, however, there are also reports that Robert Lewandowski is also trying to force an exit from Bayern Munich to Camp Nou, which means the Catalans may have to pick one.
