Former Manchester United and now Al Nassr striker, Cristiano Ronaldo has ruled out reports linking him with a third return to the Premier League.

The Portuguese in a statement vowed never to play for any European club again.

Recall that the 38-year-old football star moved to the Middle East in January 2023, after his contract with Manchester United was terminated following his explosive interview.

His departure from Old Trafford brought an end to over two decades of Ronaldo playing at the highest level in Europe.

Aside from Man Utd, the Portugal star had played for Sporting Lisbon, United, Real Madrid and Juventus, before leaving for Saudi Arabia.

Recently, Ronaldo was linked with a return to the EPL where he could join Newcastle United on a loan move, but he has now debunked such rumours.

“I won’t return to European football, the door is completely closed.

“I’m 38 years old, also European football has lost a lot of quality… the only valid one is the Premier League, they’re way ahead of all the other leagues,” Ronaldo said.
