Reports: Manchester United leading the race to sign highly rated forward next summer

Premier League outfit, Manchester United are still linked with Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland and the red devils have been linked as the favourite to sign him next summer.

Haaland has become one of Europe’s best striker with the Norway international scoring for fun in the Bundesliga.

His form has been monitored by top clubs in Europe with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain eager to add him to their squad.

However, a new report from German outlet Bild, as quoted by The Daily Mail, has claimed that Manchester United are leading the race to land the 21-year-old when his £64m release clause becomes active next year.

The report added that Manchester United are currently the front-runners for the Norway international’s signature when his release clause kicks in.
