Manchester City are not given up in their pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane as they are willing to launch a new bid this coming week, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Harry Kane has been on Manchester City’s top list this summer transfer window but the citizens have not been able to agree a deal with Tottenham.

The England captain is willing to leave for a new challenge this summer after another impressive season that saw him win the golden boot.

With Tottenham already turning down tow bids for their most priced asset, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Man City are preparing to launch a fresh £127m offer.

The Sun also reported that Pep Guardiola wants the deal secured next week, and talks between the two clubs will begin after their meeting in North London.

Manchester City are set to face Tottenham Hotspur in their first Premier League match and Kane might be playing that match.

Kane was in an outstanding form last season, scoring 33 goals and contributing 17 assists in 49 appearances in all competitions.
