Real Madrid join Arsenal in the race for this 20-year-old Hungary international

Premier League side, Arsenal have been forced to make a rethink on the signing of Dominik Szoboszlai as a new report has revealed that Spanish side, Real Madrid have taken interest in the 20-year-old.

Arsenal were said to be preparing for a move for him in the summer, however the new interest from Madrid could see them make a early move.

The Gunners are in need of a new midfielder at Emirate stadium as they have lack creativity at the center this season.

Arsenal already have Thomas Partey who they sign in the summer, they however, plan to add a second midfielder since German midfielder, Mesut Ozil is unlikely to play in the team again till his contract expires or a club decides to sign him.

This makes Szoboszlai become the player that could take up the role at Emirate stadium.

The Hungary international has eight goals and nine assists to his name in 18 appearances in all competitions this season.

He plays on the left wing but can equally play at the center.

The Premier league giants have received a setback with news that Real Madrid are also interested.

The major challenge for Arsenal now is that a report claimed the Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane has personally called Szoboszlai to encourage him to sign for the club.

RB Salzburg are prepared to sell Szoboszlai as low as £18m, according to reports in Germany.

Arsenal would be able to pay the fee but there are chances that the 20-year-old will prefer a move to a bigger club like Real Madrid.

We will have to wait till January to see how it will all play out.
