Manchester United are now faced with competition as French club Paris Saint-Germain, PSG, have reportedly submitted a €50m bid for their target Rasmus Højlund.

This was made public by popular transfer expert Fabrizio Romano who said PSG have been speaking with Højlund since June

Romano in his tweet on Thursday, however, added that Atalanta are demanding at least €70m plus add-ons for Højlund.

Atalanta’s demand is what has prevented Man Utd from signing Højlund, who they want as a striker at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils had offered a bid higher at €60m package for the Atalanta striker, which was also rejected.

“Paris Saint-Germain have submitted €50m bid for Rasmus Højlund, as 1st called by L’Équipe.

“Atalanta always wanted at least €70m plus add-ons.

“PSG, speaking to Rasmus camp since June; but Man United remain ahead.

“Man Utd bid, higher as it’s €60m package,” Romano tweeted.
