Premier League side Aston Villa are reportedly in advanced talks with Chelsea over a £38m deal for their striker Tammy Abraham.

Chelsea is reportedly in the transfer market for a forward despite signing Timo Werner from RB Leipzig last season.

Despite that a deal for Erling Haaland or Harry Kane has not been announced, Chelsea are set to let go of Tammy Abraham, who has failed to break into Thomas Tuchel’s team.

The England international scored 12 times in 32 appearances for the Blues last summer, but that has not convinced Thomas Tuchel.

Some Premier League teams are eager to have him on their squad, but reports from Italian journalist Rudy Galetti claimed Aston Villa are set to agree on a deal with Chelsea.

According to Galetti, Aston Villa and Chelsea are nearing a £38m agreement for the England striker.

Abraham still has two years left to run on his contract with the Champions League holders, and the blues are willing to use his transfer fee to fund their bid for Erling Haaland.

West Ham United are also among the club tipped to sign Abraham if he ends up not agreeing on a deal with Aston Villa.
