Former Arsenal Ian Wright has shared his opinion on the appointment of former Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea.

Thomas Tuchel became the 15th manager in Roman Abramovic’s era when he took over the role just days after club legend Frank Lampard was sacked after some poor run of form.

The German tactician oversaw his first match in Wednesday’s goalless Premier League draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Wright has revealed what he will turn the blues to with his blunt style.

Wright while speaking to Optus Sport stated that if it works out how he believe it might work out for Chelsea because they’ve got the players to do it, the blues under Tuchel are going to be pretty dangerous.

The Arsenal legend stated that what he likes about Tuchel is that he’s not fussedwhat they say upstairs, if they say something that makes him unhappy he will let them know.

Wright also noted that Tuchel doesn’t care if the star players are giving him any kind of problem, he will let them known and he’s doing what he’s doing and it’s straight down the line.

With Chelsea getting ready to face Burnley next, Wright added that if the team buy into that then obviously we’re going to see a different kind of Chelsea with a different kind of ruthlessness and steeliness to them and intensity, and that could be quite frightening.

Tuchel’s last job was at Paris Saint-Germain where he won trophies before being sacked and replaced with Mauricio Pochettino.
