Potter hold talks with Chelsea senior players

The latest report has disclosed that Chelsea’s new manager, Graham Potter, has spoken to a number of the club’s senior players as he urged them to help unite the dressing room.

This was made public by popular journalist, Ben Jacobs, in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Saturday.

Recall that Potter signed a five-year contract with Chelsea last week after they agreed to pay Brighton around £20million in compensation to replace Thomas Tuchel following his sacking.

Potter’s first game as Chelsea manager had been due to be against Fulham in the EPL over the weekend, but the match was postponed due to the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

“Graham Potter has already held a series of one-on-one talks with senior Chelsea players,” Jacobs tweeted.

“He’s stressed the importance of leadership and dressing room unity and spoke of his open door policy. He’s been keen to listen and ensure he quickly understands the culture of the club.”
