One of the Blues’ potential new owners, Nick Candy, has sent a message to Manchester United in regards to their link to sign Thomas Tuchel.

According to Candy, the Red Devils may not have the chance to sign Tuchel as he wouldn’t have to leave Stamford Bridge.

This comes as the Red Devils had identified Tuchel as a replacement for Rangnick at Old Trafford.

Candy, a British billionaire, is one of the leading buyers that have submitted a bid to Abramovich to buy Chelsea.

The report claimed that Candy submitted a bid of around £2bn, which he generated from the US and South Korea.

“Thomas Tuchel has done an incredible job at a very difficult time in the last few weeks,” Candy told The Sun

“He’s spoken brilliantly, behaved brilliantly and is a true gent.

“It’s one thing being a great manager, it’s a different thing being a great human being.

“But he’s proven that he’s not just a great manager but a brilliant human being.

“He’s got the respect of the media, he’s got the respect of the players, he’s got the respect of the fans, so all credit to him.”
