Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino seems ready to work on Mykhailo Mudryk next season as he recently spoke on meeting the player before the Blues fly out for preseason.

This comes as Pochettino officially began his role as Chelsea’s permanent manager this week, replacing Graham Potter.

The new manager is yet to meet Mudryk, who was not impressive for the Blues after arriving from Shakhtar Donetsk in the January transfer window.

Mudryk since his arrival at Stamford Bridge is yet to score a goal for the Blues and only managed to provide one assist before the season ended.

Pochettino said: “I am going to meet Mudryk before he comes to pre-season.

“I really like to see and to know him, and then to design the best strategy to help him to be at the level that Chelsea expects.”
