Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettiono has announced the cancellation of two off-day plans for his players following their 4-1 defeat at Newcastle, Daily Mail reported.

Pochettino was unable to watch the game from the dugout as he was seen at the stands because of a touchline ban.

The game between Chelsea and Newcastle saw Alexander Isak open the scoreboard for the hosts before Raheem Sterling levelled for the Blues.

But the Blues fell apart after the break, with captain Reece James showed a record card and Thiago Silva culpable in giving Newcastle what Pochettino called ‘an easy win’.

The game ended in a 4-1 scoreline in favour of Chelsea.

“These games make me very, very, very, very angry,” Pochettino said.

“We have to show personality and character. We cannot play this type of football.
