Chelsea’s new manager Mauricio Pochettino is said to agree with the club owners led by Todd Boehly on signing three key players this summer.

Pochettino, who took over from Frank Lampard at the end of the season is keen on rebuilding the Chelsea squad which suffered a miserable season in the recent campaign.

Recall that Pochettino was confirmed as the club’s new head coach on Monday after he penned a two-year contract at Stamford Bridge with the option for a third.

Chelsea will slim down their squad as many of their players are expected to leave this summer, but there will also be the arrival of new faces at the West London club.

There are speculations that Pochettino and co-sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart have got off on the right foot.

A report via Football London revealed Pochettino has an agreement with Boehly, alongside co-sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart that Chelsea must prioritise signing a striker, a central midfielder and a goalkeeper this summer.

Meanwhile, the Blues are said to be in the race for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, Sporting midfielder Manuel Ugarte and Brentford goalkeeper David Raya.
