Former Manchester City star Sergio Aguero has reacted to Cole Palmer’s move to Chelsea as expressed how astonished he was about the youngster form last season.

Recall that Palmer, who left Manchester City to join Chelsea for £40 million last summer transfer window, was their standout player despite the Blues woes last campaign.

In his first season at Stamford Bridge, Palmer scored 22 goals and created 11 assists in 33 Premier League appearances for the Blues.

He also made it to the list of top scorers in the Premier League last season.

The 22-year-old, who is set to represent England in Euro 2024 was recognised as the Premier League young player of the year.

Speaking via Stake, Aguero spoke about Palmer’s talent and why he is not surprised about his impressive form.

He, however, stressed that it was quite shocking to see how fast Palmer adapted at Chelsea.

According to Aguero, it would normally be really tough for players to do what Palmer has done especially in their first season at a new club.

The Man City legend stated that one can tell that Palmer’s switch from the Citizens to the Blues went exceptionally well by the amount of goals and assists he had during his first season
