Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arizzabalaga has opened up on his impact in the blues team despite not playing enough games due to Eduardo Mendy’s form.

Kepa Arizzabalaga has been forced to spend time on the bench as a backup to Eduardo Mendy who was brought in by the club in the summer transfer window.

The Spaniard has been forced to appear on rare occasion with his last appearance being Chelsea’s FA Cup quarter final win over Sheffield United on Sunday afternoon.

With his place in the Spanish national team already lost, Kepa while speaking with Chelsea website noted that he’s been helping the team from the bench.

Kepa stated that he try to help the team always, whether he’s on the bench, or on the pitch, he like to talk and encourage the players as they are all a team, very close, and they all want the same goal.

He noted that the players have an international break now but when they come back to play, they must continue in the way they’ve been playing recently.

Kepa added that the manager has come in, the team are unbeaten and are in good form but they have a lot of exciting games coming up and must prepare well and keep going in this way.
