One reason that could make Ronaldo leave Man Utd

There are rumours claiming Manchester United forward and Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo could leave Old Trafford at the end of this season.

Ronaldo is said to be considering his future at Old Trafford and could leave if the club’s next managerial appointment is not what he expects.

According to The Star, Ronaldo’s future will hinge on who is named Man United’s next permanent manager.

This comes after Man Utd appointed Germany international Ralf Rangnick as the club’s interim manager following the sack of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last November,

Rangnick is expected to move onto an advisory role at Old Trafford at the end of the season, during which Man Utd must have signed a new coach.

While PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino was believed to be the favourite to become the permanent coach at Old Trafford at the end of the season, another report claimed Ajax’s Erik ten Hag is now the preferred option.

The decision of who becomes the new coach will determine if Ronaldo will remain at Old Trafford next season or not.
