The recent reports have revealed that Saudi Arabia Pro League side, Al Ahli have also shown interest in Napoli star Victor Osimhen this summer.

Al Ahli are said to be ready to meet Osimhen’s release clause, same reason the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea dropped interest in the Nigerian forward.

Italian news outfit, II Mattino via Calcio Napoli in a report claimed, Al Ahli are, however, yet to convince the player to consider a switch to the middle east.

It is well known that the release clause in Osimhen’s contract is reportedly around €120- £130m and appears to be an attempt by the Naples to keep him at the club for another season.

Recall that the 25-year-old Nigerian was linked to another Saudi club Al Hilal last summer but he turned down the transfer.

If things go his way, the Nigeria international wants to leave Napoli this summer and has consistently been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea and French side Paris Saint-Germain.

While Arsenal and Chelsea have since dropped interest in Osimhen, a move to PSG who consider the Napoli star as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, is off the Nigerian table who doesn’t want to return to France.
