Not Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal or Man City, Chris Wood names shocking team to win EPL

Nottingham Forest striker, Chris Wood, in a recent statement spoke about their chances of winning the Premier League title.

According to Wood, Nottingham Forest can go on to win the Premier League title.

His comment diverse from many predictions that have tipped Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal and even Chelsea as one of the favourites to win the Premier League title this season.

While Liverpool led by Arne Slot are the current toppers on the league, Wood believes his side could unseat the Reds.

Wood made the bold statement in an interview with the Daily Mail as he urged his team mates to keep cool heads if they want to achieve the impossible.

According to Wood, winning the EPL is not a case of doing well in the Premier League for one season.

He stated that it was about doing well consistently and being ambitious to challenge for European football and for titles in years to come.

“I’d like to think Forest could win another top-flight title. As long as the club keep progressing on and off the pitch, they definitely could,” the striker said.

As of now, Nottingham Forest are in sixth spot on the table with 22 goals after 13 fixtures.
