No Chelsea player on UEFA Champions League team of the week

UEFA on Thursday added Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and former Chelsea now Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger, among others, to the Champions League team of this week.

The Champions League team for this week was made public In a post via Uefa’s website after the group stage match-day four fixtures ended on Wednesday night.

Salah and Rudiger put up impressive shows for their respective clubs against Rangers and Shakhtar Donetsk, with the Egyptian scoring a hat-trick in Liverpool’s 7-1 win over Rangers on Wednesday, while former Blues’ defender scored a late equalizer in Real Madrid’s 1-1 draw with Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday night.
