Manchester United are working on bolstering their squad ahead of next season, having managed to finish in the third spot on the EPL log and win the Carabao League.

In a show of support for their manager Erik ten Hag, the Red Devils are keen on signing a new striker and popular transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that they recently held talks with Eintracht Frankfurt over a deal for their attacker Randal Kolo Muani.

In a statement via GiveMeSport, Romano further revealed that Frankfurt valued Muani at €100 million.

Aside from Muani, the Red Devils have been linked with moves for Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Tottenham’s Harry Kane.

“For Kolo Muani, the price tag is around €100 million (£85 million),” Romano said.

“It’s true that Manchester United had some contact in the last two weeks to explore the conditions of the story.

“But Eintracht wants €100m and also, they still hope to keep the player for one more season and sell him in summer 2024.”
