Chelsea target hails club’s new signing

Chelsea target and Brighton star Moises Caicedo has applauded the club’s new recruit, Kendry Paez.

Paez, who is Caicedo’s countryman will move to Stamford Bridge in May 2025 after the west London side reached a £17.5 million agreement with Independiente del Valle for his transfer.

Caicedo in a statement tipped the teenager has a massive future ahead of him as he congratulated him on his deal with Chelsea.

As of now, the 16-year-old is rated one of the best upcoming talents in South American football.

Asked how highly he rates Paez, Caicedo told La Cancha Con Majo: “He’s a crack!

“The truth is there are times where I watch Independiente games, it’s good to see those talents in Ecuador because we know we have very good youth.

“I’m very happy for him, for everything that he’s doing.

“He’s going to go really far because the talent he has is incredible.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea are still in the race to sign Caicedo in this summer transfer window.
