Victor Osimhen’s future at Napoli remains a hot topic amid links to the Premier League. The prolific striker has attracted interest from Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester United.

Napoli has reportedly agreed to let Osimhen leave this summer, but his £110 million (€130m) release clause has proven a stumbling block for potential suitors.

Paris Saint-Germain also showed interest, but no deal has materialized yet. Chelsea had considered a swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku, but those negotiations fell through.

In a press conference, new Napoli manager Antonio Conte addressed Osimhen’s situation: “I know what the situation is regarding Osimhen.

There are agreements in place, and it’s a unique case. I can only assist. He is an exceptional player, but I can’t discuss details because it involves prior agreements clearly communicated to me.”

Football Italia reports that Osimhen is expected to join Napoli for pre-season next week, despite ongoing uncertainty and no formal bids yet.

Commenting on transfer rumors, Osimhen said, “The Premier League links are expected when you’re one of the top strikers. It’s one of the best leagues in the world.

I’m happy at Napoli, having signed a new contract, and enjoying my time with the team. I’ve always made my own career decisions, and it’s worked well for me. I already know the next step I want to take.”

Meanwhile, Arsenal is eyeing Viktor Gyokeres as a potential addition to their attack.

The Gunners have monitored and analyzed the Sweden international’s performance last season.

However, Sporting Clube de Portugal is reluctant to let Gyokeres go and will demand his £86 million (€100m) release clause.
