Former Bayern Munich coach, Julian Nagelsmann is no longer one of the main coaches to take up the permanent coaching job at Chelsea.

This comes as Nagelsmann took a final decision not to take over from Chelsea interim manager Frank Lampard at the end of the season.

This was made public by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano as he said Nagelsmann, who was heavily linked with a move to replace Lampard at Stamford Bridge, has withdrawn from the race to become the Blues’ next permanent manager.

Recall that the West London side temporarily sign Lampard to take over the first team until the end of the season after Graham Potter’s earlier this month.

“Julian Nagelsmann has now withdrawn from the race to become the new Chelsea head coach — it looks like it’s his final decision,” Romano tweeted.

“German coach is said to be no longer available after multiple rounds of talks. Nagelsmann was top candidate for the job.”
