Mourinho: Former Chelsea boss joins Fenerbahce

Former Chelsea manager and Portugal international Jose Mourinho officially joined Turkish club Fenerbahce.

Mourinho who was unvieled before over thousands of fans at the Turkish club has revealed why he opted to join Fenerbahce.

The reports revealed that the former Man Utd and Chelsea boss signed a two-year deal with Turkish side.

While speaking after his unveiling, Mourinho recalled that the moment he met with President Ali Koc he wanted to play for Fenerbahce because in the end he is the soul of the football club.

The Portuguese added that since the moment he met the Turkish club president and understood his ideas, his project he had wanted to be their next manager.

“I want to work for Turkish football, I want to work for the Turkish league. I want to help to improve it but the most important thing for me is not Turkish football, it’s not the Turkish league, it’s Fenerbahce,” Mourinho said.

Mourinho is considered one of the highly rated coach in Europe. He has managed clubs in the Premier League, Italian Serie A League and the Spanish La Liga.
