Mount tipped to bring more energy to Man Utd

Former Manchester United star Andy Cole has tipped Mason Mount to be impressive for the Red Devils this summer transfer window.

Cole stressed that Mount would bring more energy to the Red Devils midfield.

Recall that the English midfielder, who Man United recently signed from Chelsea was impressive during their friendly match against Leeds United in Oslo.

Speaking to Man United’s official website, Cole said: “Coming into Manchester United, I think he’s put himself under a little bit of added pressure by taking the number seven shirt.

“He [Erik ten Hag] sees something in him that he likes. He sees something that makes him think, ‘I can work with that.’

“I am hoping Mount can bring a little something to Manchester United; more energy in the midfield area naturally because I think that is what his game is based on, getting around the football pitch and things like that.”
