After parting ways with Chelsea, Pochettino has been linked with various managerial positions across Europe, including Manchester United, ahead of the 2024-25 season.

Man United will conduct a post-season review this week to decide whether Erik ten Hag will remain as manager after leading the team to an eighth-place finish in the Premier League but securing Europa League qualification by defeating Manchester City in the FA Cup final.

Should Pochettino be appointed, he could look to bring Chalobah and Gallagher to Old Trafford. Chalobah has struggled to secure a regular spot in Chelsea’s starting lineup and missed much of the season due to injury. He played only 950 minutes in 13 Premier League games, scoring once. Gallagher, on the other hand, was a standout for Chelsea, playing 50 games across all competitions, scoring seven goals, and providing nine assists.

Chelsea, under financial pressure due to the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability rules, is reportedly open to selling both players. As academy graduates, their sales would represent pure profit for Chelsea’s finances.

Manchester United is preparing for a busy summer, with expectations of a significant overhaul. Players like Anthony Martial, Raphael Varane, Jonny Evans, Tom Heaton, and Casemiro are rumored to be on their way out, while decisions on Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood, and Donny van de Beek are also pending as they return from loan spells.
