Manchester United defender Alex Telles has reiterated his desire to remain at the club succeed in the Premier League despite reports linking him with a move away from this summer.

Telles arrived in Manchester United from FC Porto last season with the red devils paying around €15 million on the 27-year-old.

However, he has not been able to break into the first team as Luke Shaw reached a new level and cemented himself as the number one choice for that position.

He has now been linked to Inter Milan, a club he had earlier played during 2015/16 but as a loan player.

Speaking with Manchester United’s official website, the Brazilian left-back revealed how desperate he is to become a success at the club and that the fans have shown they believe in his abilities.

Telles stated that it’s an opportunity to demonstrate his qualities and potential at Old Trafford as he knows Manchester United and the fans believe in him.

The 27-year-old will be eager to convince Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he’s capable of breaking into the first team when they kick off their preseason.
