Manchester City are desperately in need of a striker after club-record scorer Sergio Aguero was allowed to leave for Barcelona on a free transfer.

The citizens are eager to replace the Argentina forward, and Harry Kane has been identified as his preferred replacement.

Harry Kane has grown to become one of Europe’s best strikers in the past few seasons and has made it clear that he wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

However, Manchester City have not been able to agree on a transfer fee with Tottenham Hotspur, who are not ready to let go of their most priced asset.

Tottenham Hotspur’s new manager Nuno Espirito Santo has also insisted that the star forward is not up for sale, but a latest report from The Telegraph has claimed Kane could refuse to return to pre-season training.

The report claimed that Kane’s England teammates believe he may not return to Spurs for pre-season training in order to force a move.

Kane won last season Premier League golden boot despite that Tottenham Hotspur failed to finish in the top five.
