Manchester City eager to win Premier League so as to be ahead of Chelsea in pursuit of young forward

Manchester City are reportedly ready to give all it takes in their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Haaland as they believe winning the Premier League will give them an edge ahead of Chelsea.

Haaland has become one of the most sought after talent in Europe as he’s been showing his class ever since he arrived from RB Salzburg.

The young forward has 38 goals in 39 appearances for Dortmund and top European giant like Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are not taking their eye off him.

Though Real Madrid are considered as the favourite, Chelsea have also shown their interest but they have been joined by Manchester City.

Manchester City under Pep Guardiola have become one of the most feared teams in Europe and they are willing to add more quality to their team.

According to Daily Star, Manchester City believes winning the Premier League this season will give them an edge over the other clubs in Europe.

The reports added that the citizens are willing to offer him a deal worth £400,000 a week as they see him as a longtime replacement for Aguero who has been struggling with injury.
