The latest reports have revealed that Man Utd are planning to interview coaches that would replace Ralf Rangnick at the end of the season.

This comes as the Red Devils only signed Rangnick on a temporary basis after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked as coach in November last year.

Man United are now planning to appoint a new long-term manager at the end of the season.

According to The Athletic, Paris Saint-Germain coach Mauricio Pochettino is the leading candidate for the role.

This is not the first time Man Utd will be considering Pochettino, as they have twice considered hiring the Argentine in the past, but it’s unclear whether he would be willing to leave PSG.

The Red Devils have have targeted Ajax’s Erik Ten Hag as a backup, and the Dutchman is said to have considerable backing at Old Trafford.

Rangnick is said to be particularly keen to hire Ten Hag, believing he is a good fit for Man United due to his philosophy and ability to build young players.

Others coaches on the list are Luis Enrique and Julen Lopetegui, but they are someway behind Pochettino and Ten Hag in the pecking order.
