Manchester United now have to worry about their injury woes as they suffered another defensive injury blow during their game vs. Arsenal on Sunday at the Emirates.

The injury involved the Red Devils defender Lisandro Martinez, who was taken off in Sunday’s Premier League defeat to Arsenal.

After he was handed a yellow card, the 25-year-old remained on the pitch only to give a signal that saw Harry Maguire come on to replace him.

While there are no details yet on how severe Martinez’s issue is, the South American defender’s injury could mean more dilemma for Man Utd’s defence.

The Red Devils are currently without Raphael Varane, who is battling a muscular problem and is not expected back in the team until later in September.

The same can apply to Tyrell Malacia, who is out with a knee problem, while Luke Shaw, who played the role of a centre-back last season, is out until mid-October with a muscle injury.
