Manchester United have suffered an injury blow ahead of their next weekend’s game vs Arsenal.

This comes as the Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag in a statement said his side would be without Raphael Varane against the Gunners.

Recall that Varane was subbed off at half-time of the Red Devils’ 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday, and replaced by Victor Lindelof.

Ten Hag, during a post-match statement at Old Trafford, said he does not know the extent of the Frenchman’s injury.

“He had complaints, we didn’t want to risk him.

“We have Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, who could replace him, so we don’t take a risk.

“He had complaints and if it’s really bad I don’t know, we have to wait,” Ten Hag said.

Meanwhile, while the Red Devils defeated Nottingham Forest, Arsenal were held to a 2-2 draw by Fulham.
