Man Utd on the lookout for replacement for Ronaldo

Man Utd are now in the race to sign a new player that would come in as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.

This is coming after Ronaldo stated that he wants to leave Old Trafford this summer.

The Red Devils’ new manager Erik ten Hag has told the club to make move for a replacement as he looks forward to life without the Portugal star next season.

On Saturday, the reports went viral that Ronaldo wants to leave Old Trafford for the second time after they failed to qualify for the Champions League and have failed to add to their squad.

According to Mirror Sport, Ten Hag will urge United to replace the 37-year-old with Ajax forward Antony if Ronaldo leaves.

But Man Utd feel that they had been priced out of a move to bring in Antony as the Dutch club are demanding a £70 million price tag for the striker.

However, with Ronaldo on his way out, it is believed that Ten Hag would mount pressure on Man Utd to make a move for his 22-year-old target.
