Manchester United legendary manager, Sir Alex Ferguson in a recent statement shared his view about the German Bundesliga.

Ferguson disclosed he does not want Bayern Munich to win the league title this season.

There are high chances the Bundesliga could see an unexpected champion in May, with Bayer Leverkusen currently 10 points ahead of Bayern in second place.

The former Red Devils boss is keen to see Xabi Alonso’s side win the title ahead of the German champions.

He told the Eintracht Frankfurt website: “I always hope to see the underdog win.

“Bayern fans may not agree with that, but like all the neutral fans in Germany, I really hope to see someone else win the league again.”

Bayern Munich have won the Bundesliga title for 11 years in a row, however, Leverkusen could bring an end to their long term reign.
