Manchester United soon to be coach manager Ralf Rangnick has made a request before he resumes at Old Trafford.

The report revealed Rangnick chose to speak to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s old coaching staff, which include Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna.

A report via The Athletic disclosed that Rangnick would meet with Carrick and McKenna in the coming days as he has already requested at least one new coach to add to his coaching staff.

The report added that the 63-year-old would also be allowed to bring in two of his trusted assistants, with Lars Kornetka, who worked with him at Hoffenheim, Schalke and RB Leipzig, set to join his long-time friend at Old Trafford as his right-hand man.

Rangnick has accepted to coach the Red Devils for the next six months with the option to extend his contract for two more years.

The Red Devils are hoping to bounce back after a devastating season so far under former coach Soslkjaer.

Rangnick is a highly rated German coach with a lot of experience. Hopefully, he will be able to turn things around.
