Man Utd have reportedly given France international and midfielder Paul Pogba until December to finally extend his contract with them.

Pogba has until Christmas to sign a new contract worth £400,000, according to the UK Sun.

This comes as the French midfielder draws towards the end of his current contract with the Red Devils.

His current deal is expected to lapse at the end of this season, but Man Utd are hoping he stays put by extending his contract.

This means from January 2022, Pogba will be free to commence talks on a possible transfer to another club, but it appears the Red Devils are not willing to lose him for free and could sign him out in the January transfer window if he fails to reach an agreement on the new deal.

Ahead of the summer window, Pogba has been linked with a transfer move to the Italian side Juventus and the Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain PSG.

A report during the transfer window claimed that PSG were willing to offer Pogba £510,000-a-week salary if he joins them for free next summer.
