Man Utd get approval to sign these two players

Manchester United have been handed double transfer boost amid the ongoing summer transfer window.

The recent report disclosed that the Red Devils have gotten approval to sign Bologna forward, Joshua Zirkzee and Bayern Munich defender, Matthijs de Ligt to move to Old Trafford this summer.

While Zirkzee has a €40 million release clause in his contract with Bologna, the Red Devils will spend around €50 million to sign De Ligt.

Further reports from popular football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, via his X handle on Sunday disclosed that Manchester United have been given green light from both Zirkzee and De Ligt to join the club.

Romano added that the duo have also spoken with manager Erik ten Hag with Man United now planning to advance on the club side in the coming days.

“It’s all approved on salary/commission also for Zirkzee,” the transfer expert said.

Recall that Man United’s transfer deals  had been delayed due to uncertainty around manager Erik ten Hag’s future at Old Trafford.

However, the Dutchman has since extended his contract with the Red Devils and would remain in the dug out for another season.

Man Utd are now focus on recruiting new players this summer as they plan to compete for trophies next season.
