Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot has opened up on two traits he learned from Al-Nassr captain and Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Dalot and Ronaldo were teammates at Old Trafford before he left the Premier League for Saudi Pro League after his Red Devils’ contract was terminated by mutual consent.

The 24-year-old defender revealed his fellow countryman helped him a lot outside of the pitch, adding that he learnt discipline and consistency from the forward.

Speaking to ESPN, Dalot said about the former Real Madrid star: “It was a joy for me to play with him and to be his teammate.

“He helped me a lot. I will keep some things to myself, but the general [thing] is that his discipline is what impressed me the most.

“Because you can be consistent, but you can be consistent in a bad way, and he was disciplined and consistent in a good way. That is what I have learned the most from him.”
