Maguire takes action on joining West Ham

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has dismissed the chances of him leaving Old Trafford for their Premier League rival, West Ham United this summer transfer window.

This comes after the Hammers submitted a £20 million offer for Maguire on Friday, an offer that was rejected by Man United.

The report revealed manager Erik ten Hag still considers Maguire a member of his squad with the Red Devils not ready to sell him this summer.

However, with the right offer, Man Utd could be tempted into selling Maguire.

West Ham’s initial bid falls short of Man United’s valuation as there are speculations that Man United want around £40 million for Maguire.

Meanwhile, a report via The Times revealed Maguire has plans on joining a ‘bigger club’ than West Ham if he decides to leave Manchester United.

The English defender lost his place in Ten Hag’s first squad at the start of the 2022-2023 season with Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane now the team’s first-choice pairing at the back

He was also recently stripped of his captaincy band which has now been handed to Bruno Fernandes.
