Man Utd have confirmed the departure of their midfielder and the Netherlands international Donny van de Beek to Everton.

The Red Devils confirmed that Van De Beek joined the Toffees on loan and would be there for the rest of the season.

Man United made the announcement in a statement via their website on transfer deadline day.

“Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has agreed to join Premier League club Everton on loan until the end of the season,” Man United’s statement read.

Van de Beek joined the Red Devils from Ajax during the summer of 2020, but he struggled to get playing chances under former coach Ole Solskjaer Gunner and under new manager Ralf Rangnick.

Through his stay at Old Trafford, the Netherlands international had made only 50 appearances in all competitions, with only two goals to his name.

Hopefully, the Dutch midfielder would get the chance to prove himself at Everton under Frank Lampard.

Van de Beek is keen on getting playing chances so that he can make it to the Netherlands national team for the World Cup.
