Former Premier League striker, Clinton Morrison has tipped Romelu Lukaku to be successful at Chelsea next season as long as he keeps fit.

The Belgium international, who is currently spending season-long loan at Italian Seria A Inter Milan after his £97.5m return to Chelsea in 2021 failed to produce any success.

But Inter Milan already has concerns over Lukaku’s lack of fitness and the 29-year-old is expected to return to Stamford Bridge at the end of this season.

Morrison in a statement with Sky Sports said that Lukaku will impress when he returns to Stamford Bridge in the summer.

“Romelu Lukaku has gone on loan and there is talk of him coming back,” Morrison said.

“Can he be that focal point?

“If you’ve got Romelu Lukaku fit, with the players they have brought in who can go and create stuff, he should be able to score goals in that team.

“That’s one to watch. If they get Romelu Lukaku back, he will score goals in that Chelsea team for sure,” he added.
