Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, who is currently on loan transfer in the Italian Seria A where he plays for Inter Milan has opened up on what he told the west London side owner Todd Boehly before he was allowed to leave.

According to Lukaku, Boehly granted his transfer after he spoke about his relationship with former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel.

The Belgian star has now said he wants to continue playing his football for Inter Milan.

“I hope to stay at Inter also in the future.

“I want to continue here as I love this club, we will speak to Chelsea in order to find a solution.

“Todd Boehly decided to let me leave after I told him the truth about my relationship with Tuchel,” Lukaku told Sky Italia.

Recall that Lukaku returned to the Serie A giants on a one-year loan, having spent a season back at Stamford Bridge last summer.
